Key Responsibilities
- **Quality Laboratory Support:**
- Perform meticulous sampling and testing of incoming raw materials, ensuring compliance with approved specifications and Certificates of Conformance.
- Support comprehensive testing of bulk batches to verify adherence to stringent product specifications.
- Conduct essential online quality control checks throughout the manufacturing processes to maintain product integrity.
- Assist with the precise calibration and verification of laboratory measurement and testing equipment.
- Maintain accurate material retention and reference samples for future analysis and compliance.
- Support critical water sampling, water testing, and quality monitoring activities.
- Compile accurate Certificates of Analysis and other vital quality documentation.
- Actively participate in product trend analysis and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- **Quality Systems and Compliance:**
- Assist with robust document control and efficient record management processes.
- Support non-conformance management procedures, ensuring prompt resolution and corrective actions.
- Contribute to the implementation of corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
- Participate in internal audits and compliance assessments to uphold regulatory standards.
- Assist with change management activities within the quality framework.
- Support certification compliance requirements, ensuring the organisation meets industry benchmarks.
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Prerequisite Programmes (PRPs), hygiene, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Conduct microbiological monitoring and cleaning verification activities to ensure a sterile environment.
- Monitor plant hygiene and quality service standards across all operations.
- **Quality Operations:**
- Participate in regular factory walkabouts and thorough quality inspections.
- Engage in positive release activities for finished products, ensuring they meet all quality criteria before distribution.
- Assist in investigations related to product non-conformances and consumer complaints, identifying root causes and solutions.
- Analyse quality and marketplace feedback data to inform strategic improvements.
- Identify and contribute to continuous improvement opportunities within the production cycle.
- Participate in factory trials and innovation projects, supporting new product development.
- Perform quality gatekeeping activities at various stages of production.
- Compile comprehensive quality reports, presentations, and weekly performance updates.
- Support staff training and quality awareness initiatives to foster a culture of excellence.
- **Packaging Quality Exposure:**
- Gain exposure to packaging quality by assisting with sampling and inspection of incoming packaging materials.
- Conduct various packaging tests, including dimensional checks, colour verification, and barcode verification.
- Participate in investigations into packaging defects and quality issues.
- Support supplier quality management activities, ensuring high standards from external partners.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation related to packaging.
- Contribute to packaging-related continuous improvement projects.
