• Matric/Technical Matric with:
  • Mathematics – minimum 40% (Mathematical Literacy is not accepted)
  • Physical Science – minimum 40%
  • English – minimum 40%
• Alternatively, N2 or higher with the subjects required for the relevant engineering discipline.
• Candidates with an appropriate NCV Level 4 qualification may also apply, provided all relevant subjects were passed with a minimum of 40%.
• N2 Trade-Specific Requirements:
  • Boilermaker: Plating & Structural Steelwork or Welders Theory, Plating Structural & Steelwork Drawings, Mathematics and Engineering Science.
  • Welder: Plating & Structural Steelwork/Welders Theory, Plating Structural & Steelwork Drawings, Mathematics and Engineering Science.
