• Master CV Profile Data: We store your career history, education, skills, and languages. This serves as your "source of truth" for generating tailored CVs and digital Z83 forms.
• Sensitive Data: For Z83 forms, you may provide your South African ID number. This is **encrypted at rest** using AES-256 and is only used to populate your generated PDF.
• Guest Blogging Data: If you contribute as a guest blogger, we collect your author bio, name, and profile image to display alongside your articles.
• Application Tracking: We track which jobs you save or apply for to personalize your experience and improve our Job Matcher AI.
• Usage of Utility Tools: Data entered into our Tax Calculator or Z83 Filler is processed to provide the result. For non-logged users, this data is transient and not stored permanently.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your information is used strictly to power our platform features:

• CV Generation: Creating professional, recruitment-ready PDF documents.
• AI Analysis: Our AI models process your profile data to provide match scores and career advice (see AI section below).
• Payment Verification: We use PayFast to securely process payments for CV tailoring and AI tokens. We do **not** store your credit card details.
• Communication: Sending important platform updates, job alerts, or account-related notifications.

3. AI Data Processing

By using our AI tools (Advisor, Matcher, Generator), you understand that:

• Secured Transmissions: Your profile data is sent securely to our Large Language Model (LLM) providers to generate tailored responses.
• No Public Training: We ensure that your private data is not used to train public AI models.
• Disclaimer: While highly advanced, AI content is for assistance only. Users should always review generated summaries or advice for accuracy.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Generated CVs: Unpaid or transient CVs are automatically removed from our servers after 48 hours to protect your privacy.
• Profile Deletion: You have the right to delete your account at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes your Master Profile, saved jobs, and CV data from our active systems.

5. Cookies & Advertising

We use standard cookies and third-party vendors (like Google AdSense) to serve relevant job-related ads and maintain platform sustainability. You can manage your ad preferences through your browser settings.
