Key Responsibilities
- Attend all theoretical training sessions diligently, as facilitated by the designated training provider.
- Successfully complete all assessments, assignments, and compile a comprehensive Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) in line with W&RSETA requirements.
- Perform a variety of workplace duties related to retail operations, including but not limited to:
- Assisting customers with inquiries, product information, and delivering basic customer service with a positive attitude.
- Merchandising and replenishing stock on shelves, ensuring products are well-displayed and easily accessible.
- Supporting point-of-sale (POS) operations, including processing transactions and handling cash (where applicable).
- Maintaining store cleanliness and upholding high housekeeping standards to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
- Strictly follow all company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
- Comply with all health and safety requirements in the workplace, promoting a safe environment for colleagues and customers.
- Maintain accurate logbook entries and diligently track workplace experience hours and activities.
- Demonstrate professional behaviour, punctuality, and consistent attendance throughout the learnership period.
- Actively engage with supervisors, mentors, and facilitators to support continuous learning and address any challenges.
