This role is specifically designed to transition individuals from general retail into professional Vehicle Sales Executives. Located in George, the trainee will be embedded within a reputable dealership team, gaining exposure to South Africa’s leading automotive brands. The program focuses on the full sales lifecycle, from digital lead generation to the psychological aspects of closing a premium retail sale.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Pipeline Support: The trainee assists senior sales executives in managing the end-to-end sales funnel, including initial customer qualification and the coordination of vehicle test drives.

• Showroom & Merchandising: The incumbent ensures that the showroom floor reflects global brand standards, maintaining the presentation of display vehicles and ensuring all point-of-sale information is accurate.

• Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Capturing and managing prospect data within the Motus digital ecosystem to ensure consistent follow-ups and high conversion rates.

• Professional Development: The trainee must participate in structured on-the-job training sessions focused on product knowledge, vehicle financing basics, and administrative compliance.

• Education: Valid Matric Certificate or equivalent.

• Experience: A minimum of 3 months of retail experience in any industry (e.g., clothing, tech, or cellular sales).

• Compliance: Must have a clear criminal record and a clear credit history (essential for future F&I accreditation).

• Core Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrable eagerness to learn the automotive trade.
