Transformation Internship at OUTsurance
Job Description
OUTsurance is seeking an ambitious and motivated graduate to join their team as a Transformation Intern based in Centurion. This youth development opportunity is structured to provide an aspiring professional with valuable hands-on corporate experience within the financial services and insurance sector. The successful intern will actively contribute to strategic transformation initiatives, focusing on Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) compliance, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programmes, and organizational development strategies that shape the future workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Research and Market Analysis: Conduct detailed research on industry benchmarks, regulatory standards, competitor strategies, and best practices relating to transformational change, DEI, and B-BBEE framework alignment.
Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, administrative execution, and regular monitoring of diversity, equity, and inclusion projects across various business units.
Data Analytics and Reporting: Collect, clean, and analyze workforce data to track the progress of transformation scorecard initiatives and create executive dashboards for key performance indicators.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal teams and external industry partners to gather feedback, promote transformation awareness, and support change management campaigns.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for continuous workflow improvement, operational efficiency, and innovation within transformation and human capital processes.

Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric certificate or equivalent.
Completed Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Organisational Development, Industrial Psychology, Strategic Management, Social Science, or a related qualification.
Computer literate with practical working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
Currently unemployed with no previous formal work experience required.
Must not have previously participated in an INSETA-funded internship or learnership programme.
Strong analytical, research, and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good interpersonal acumen.
Basic knowledge of project management and change management principles is advantageous.
