• Relevant Bachelor's Degree, B-Tech, or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 6 or higher from a recognised South African institution (field of study to match the specific internship stream)

• South African citizen or permanent resident (foreign nationals must provide SAQA accreditation of qualifications)

• Currently unemployed with no formal work experience in the relevant field

• Must not currently be participating in another learnership or internship programme

• Willing to sign an internship agreement with UFS

• If still studying, no classes may be attended during office hours
