Key Responsibilities
Assist in the delivery of Human Settlements within the City's Cores and Corridors of Freedom.
Support specialists in determining optimal land and building usage within communities.
Assist with project packaging and conduct necessary audits.
Gain exposure to the coordination of procedural requirements for human settlements delivery.
Participate in project facilitation and management activities.
Provide administrative support within the Human Settlements unit.
Offer project management support to ongoing initiatives.
Engage in data analysis to inform policy and guideline changes.
Learn about the interpretation and implementation of Human Settlements policies, legislation, and acts.

Requirements
Matric / Grade 12, NQF Level 4
National Diploma in Built Environment, NQF Level 6; and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Built Environment, NQF Level 7
Confirmation letter from institution
Must be a City of Johannesburg resident
Must have never participated in an internship programme before
Computer literacy
Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
English language proficiency, reading and writing
Good communication skills
Coordination skills
Presentation skills, verbal and written
Conflict management skills
Basic knowledge of Procurement processes
Basic knowledge of Human Settlements policies and legislation
Basic knowledge of Project management
