Motus Aftermarket Parts is seeking a motivated Salesperson to join their dynamic team in Wolmaranstad, North West. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing counter sales, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong customer relationships within the designated geographical area. Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, demonstrating professionalism and confidence to deliver outstanding customer service.
Achieve and exceed set sales targets as determined by the Sales/Branch/Retail Manager.
Effectively manage counter sales to maximize customer potential and revenue.
Plan, forecast, and report on sales potentials for individual customers.
Monitor and report on competitor pricing and activities within the market.
Maintain accurate customer information, addressing any delivery, telesales, or account-related issues promptly.
Generate new business by expanding the customer base and increasing market share in the assigned geographical area.
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers.
Handle inbound customer sales inquiries efficiently and professionally.
Provide quotations, product information, and service details in response to customer needs.
Collaborate with other departments, including Accounts, Despatch, Warehousing, Receiving, and Technical, to ensure seamless operations and minimize customer queries.
Conduct cold calling when necessary to generate leads and new business opportunities.

Requirements
Matric qualification
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales role within the Spares/Motor/Engine environment (Essential)
Extensive experience in automotive sales, dealing with diverse customer needs
Technical background (Desirable)
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
In-depth product knowledge
Business acumen, including understanding costs and breakeven scenarios
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Thorough knowledge of the geographical area of responsibility
Strong planning and time management skills
Excellent team player capabilities
