Key Responsibilities
- Attend all theoretical training sessions diligently, as facilitated by the designated training provider, ensuring active participation and engagement.
- Complete all assessments, assignments, and compile a comprehensive Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) in line with W&RSETA requirements and deadlines.
- Perform a variety of workplace duties related to retail operations, including but not limited to assisting customers and delivering basic customer service with a positive attitude.
- Execute merchandising tasks, ensuring shelves are well-stocked, products are neatly displayed, and the store is visually appealing.
- Support point-of-sale (POS) operations where applicable, learning to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain store cleanliness and uphold high housekeeping standards throughout the retail premises.
- Strictly follow all company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
- Comply with all health and safety requirements in the workplace, contributing to a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Maintain accurate logbook entries and diligently track workplace experience hours as required by the learnership programme.
- Demonstrate professional behaviour, punctuality, and consistent attendance, reflecting a strong work ethic.
- Actively engage with supervisors, mentors, and facilitators to support learning progress, seek feedback, and address any challenges.
