This fixed-term contract position for an IT Intern is designed for individuals with a recent IT Degree or National Diploma who are eager to gain hands-on experience across various IT operations. The role involves supporting and maintaining the ICT environment, focusing on End User Computing and the implementation and support of third-party applications. Key Responsibilities
Attend to and resolve IT calls logged within the specified Service Level Agreements (SLAs), with a focus on minimizing operational impact and downtime.
Prepare, install, support, and maintain the IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Perform essential infrastructure administration tasks, including regularly scheduled and ad-hoc duties.
Conduct initial investigations into potential information security and privacy-related incidents, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.
Provide support for the End User Computing environment, ensuring smooth operation of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Assist in the implementation and ongoing support of various third-party applications critical to the WCBS's operations.

Requirements
Recently completed National Diploma / Degree in Information Systems
Code B Driver's License without endorsements is essential
Microsoft, A+, or N+ certification is advantageous
Experience with Microsoft Windows and office applications
Knowledge of desktops/laptops and peripheral hardware
Basic understanding of Information Security principles
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
