IT Intern 2026 – Profile Personnel (Gqeberha)

Profile Personnel, a leading recruitment and HR solutions firm, is looking for a motivated and technically inclined IT Intern to join their team in Gqeberha.

This role is a perfect entry point for a recent graduate who is eager to bridge the gap between academic theory and corporate practice. You will be immersed in a professional IT environment, gaining hands-on experience in end-user support, network troubleshooting, and desktop maintenance. This is an excellent chance to build a solid foundation in Information Technology within the Financial Services and recruitment sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Assist with the day-to-day maintenance of Windows desktop environments.

• Troubleshooting: Help resolve end-user technical queries and hardware/software issues.

• Network Assistance: Support the maintenance and monitoring of corporate networks.

• Professional Growth: Take direction from senior IT staff to learn corporate protocols and cybersecurity best practices.

• Workplace Integration: Adapt to a diverse workplace culture and communicate professionally with various stakeholders.

To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following:

• Education: * Matric (Grade 12) certificate (Essential).

  • A relevant Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology or a related field (Essential).

• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Windows environments, networks, and troubleshooting.

• Experience: 0–1 years (This is an entry-level role for recent graduates).

• Soft Skills: A strong willingness to learn, ability to work in a team, and professional communication skills.

Advantageous Skills (Not Essential)

While not required, exposure to the following will give your application an edge:

• Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.

• Familiarity with MS SQL environments.

• Basic understanding of Cyber Security principles.

• Any exposure to programming languages (e.g., C#).
