Job Description
PPS is offering a dynamic Graduate Intern opportunity within the Human Resources department. This role is designed for ambitious individuals seeking to gain comprehensive, hands-on experience across various HR functions. Interns will actively support HR initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of strategies that foster a positive and productive work environment. The program provides exposure to key HR disciplines including HR Business Partnering, employee relations, recruitment, talent management, and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) & Wellness, making it an ideal launchpad for a career in Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
Assist HR Business Partners in executing HR strategies and solutions aligned with business objectives.
Support the implementation of various HR projects and initiatives across departments.
Participate in meetings with business leaders to understand their HR needs and provide tailored support.
Aid in managing employee relations cases, including grievances and disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance and fairness.
Assist in conducting thorough investigations and preparing all necessary documentation.
Contribute to the creation and execution of effective employee engagement strategies.
Support the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and resume screening to interview coordination.
Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for all new employees.
Assist in talent management activities such as performance management, succession planning, and employee development programs.
Administer learning and development activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
Contribute to the design and implementation of compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and wellness programs.
Support initiatives aimed at enhancing employee well-being and promoting work-life balance.
Assist in organizing company-wide wellness events and activities.
Support the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Contribute to the development and communication of comprehensive total rewards strategies.
Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends in compensation and benefits.
Address and manage employee inquiries related to compensation, benefits, and rewards effectively.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources Management, or Organisational Psychology.
An Honours degree in any of the above fields will be advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
