First National Bank (FNB) Graduate Opportunities 2026
Job Description
First National Bank (FNB), one of South Africa's most innovative and customer-focused financial institutions and a proud member of the FirstRand Group, is inviting ambitious final-year students and recent graduates to apply for its 2026 Graduate Programme β based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Unlike most graduate programmes in South Africa, the FNB Graduate Programme offers permanent, full-time employment from day one β not a temporary contract or short-term internship. Graduates are placed directly into specific business units across FNB's retail and commercial banking divisions, where they contribute meaningfully to real banking projects from their very first week.
Graduates work across a diverse range of functions including credit analytics, product development, process and technology development, financial analysis, fraud and risk analysis, customer experience, brand strategy, and financial management. Alongside full-time work, graduates participate in structured monthly training sessions and a strategic action learning project β creating a powerful combination of hands-on experience and professional development.
If you are a non-traditional thinker who thrives on solving complex business challenges and wants to build a long-term career in South Africa's most digitally advanced bank, this programme is your launchpad.
