Ekurhuleni West TVET College invites ambitious and dedicated individuals to apply for its Financial Management Traineeship for the 2026 intake. This 18-month programme is designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in student support services and bursary administration within a dynamic educational environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the distribution of Department of Education bursary application forms to students.
- Issue Schedules of Particulars to all eligible applicants, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide clear and concise explanations to students regarding the required supporting documents for bursary applications.
- Maintain meticulous records of all students who have applied for bursaries, tracking their progress.
- Monitor and track the submission status of applications and all accompanying supporting documents.
- Follow up diligently on any returns or queries from SSS-CC or NSFAS regarding student applications.
- Actively participate in bursary meetings, contributing to discussions and understanding policy updates.
- Make necessary copies of documents required for efficient bursary administration processes.
- Process student transport and accommodation claims, ensuring all documentation is correct before submission.
- Keep accurate and organised records of all transport and accommodation claims for auditing purposes.
- Thoroughly check that all application fields are completed by students, preventing incomplete submissions.
- Verify that all required supporting documents have been submitted by applicants.
- Inform students promptly of all submission deadlines to ensure timely applications.
