Job Description
Advania UK is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join their Finance Shared Services team in Cape Town. This 12-month fixed-term contract offers a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career in finance, gaining practical, hands-on experience across key financial processes within a supportive and collaborative environment. The intern will work closely with the Management Accountant, Credit Control team, and the broader finance shared services function, contributing to essential tasks such as month-end activities, reconciliations, cash allocation, forecasting, and general finance administration. This role is ideal for individuals with a genuine interest in finance, a strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Management Accountant with month-end finance activities.
Prepare and support bank reconciliations.
Assist and support the Credit Control team with cash allocation.
Support the Management Accountant with the group cash forecast.
Complete finance-related administrative duties accurately and on time.
Support the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required.
