Rheinmetall Denel Munition (RF) (Pty) Ltd, a South African subsidiary of Rheinmetall AG one of Germany's largest and most respected defence and automotive technology companies is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for an ECL Administrator Intern position at their Potchefstroom facility in the North West Province.

As an ECL Administrator Intern, you will be responsible for scanning, categorising, and converting documents into digital formats, as well as supporting the broader administrative, data management, and records management functions of the department. This role is ideal for a motivated NQF Level 5 Administration or Business Management graduate who wants to gain hands-on experience in a globally connected, highly regulated defence manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Scan documents and correctly label data into appropriate categories
Convert scanned images into text documents using various software tools
Capture data accurately into spreadsheets, databases, and company data management systems
Assist in preparing, managing, and distributing documentation, reports, and records
Maintain and organise both digital and physical filing systems
Assist with maintaining overall office organisation and documentation workflows
Support internal and external communication including correspondence and official documentation
Adhere to and implement Rheinmetall Denel Munition's policies and procedures
Ensure full compliance with ISO standards across SHE (Safety, Health & Environment), Quality, Environmental, and Energy Management systems
Salary: R8,000 β R12,000 per month (Salary not specified by employer β estimated based on South African defence sector administrative intern market rates, 2025/2026)
Requirements
NQF Level 5 qualification in Administrative Management or Business Management (or equivalent)
Basic computer literacy proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Valid South African driver's licence (essential)
Clear security screening (all appointments subject to security clearance)
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Ability to remain organised and productive in a fast-paced, regulated work environment
