The Inbound/Outbound AVAF Pre-legal Collections Specialist at Absa is responsible for managing pre-legal collections activities, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and delivering exceptional customer experience. This role involves proactive engagement with cardholders, branches, and merchants to provide informational support and resolve collection-related queries. Key Responsibilities
- Achieve contracted service level agreements by being available to cardholders, branches, and merchants for informational support.
- Provide service excellence and achieve customer satisfaction.
- Fulfil all activities in adherence to relevant control and compliance requirements, and quality standards.
- Manage inbound and outbound communication related to pre-legal collections.
- Negotiate payment arrangements with customers while adhering to company policies and legal guidelines.
- Accurately document all customer interactions and collection activities in the system.
- Identify and escalate complex collection cases to senior specialists or legal teams as necessary.
- Stay updated on changes in collection laws and regulations to ensure continuous compliance.
