AVBOB, in partnership with INSETA (Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority), is inviting unemployed South African youth to apply for its 12-month Long-Term Insurance Learnership Programme 2026 / 2027.

This learnership combines classroom-based training with practical workplace experience, allowing successful applicants to gain a nationally recognised qualification while developing valuable skills in the insurance industry.

Participants will receive a monthly stipend throughout the duration of the programme.

About the AVBOB Learnership

The AVBOB INSETA Learnership is designed to help young South Africans gain practical work experience and an accredited qualification in the long-term insurance sector.

Applicants must:

• Be a South African citizen.

• Have a valid Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.

• Have passed English and either:

  • Mathematics,

  • Mathematical Literacy, or

  • Accounting.

• Be between 18 and 35 years old.

• Not have completed any previous learnership.

• Not be studying at another institution.

• Have reliable transport.

• Have access to a smartphone or laptop (advantageous).

• Have good communication skills.

• Have basic computer skills (MS Office, Email and Internet).

• Be able to work independently and show initiative.
