Key Responsibilities
Own the delivery of smaller improvement projects from inception to completion, under the guidance of the Lead of Programme Effectiveness.
Contribute analytical power to complex initiatives by conducting research, performing analysis, and drafting materials to support senior colleagues in leading multi-stakeholder change.
Produce high-quality reports, briefings, and workshop materials that effectively shape critical decisions.
Manage project timelines, document meeting outcomes, and assist in coordinating entity Champions and key stakeholders.
Progressively take on more challenging assignments, following a defined career path towards the Consultant role.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform strategic planning and programme effectiveness.
Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring all milestones are met.
Engage effectively with diverse stakeholders to gather insights and facilitate collaboration.
Synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations.
Support the implementation of change management strategies within various programmes.

Requirements
A relevant degree with a strong academic record.
An internship, graduate programme, or 1-3 years of experience in consulting, strategy, or professional services is highly advantageous.
Sharp analytical and writing skills, with demonstrated ability to manage work reliably under time pressure.
Meticulous planning and organising skills.
Curiosity to ask pertinent questions and a strong desire to learn quickly through practical, high-stakes work.
Genuine motivation to build a career focused on achieving long-term impact in Africa.
Advantageous: background at a consultancy or strategy firm; exposure to the philanthropic or development sector; familiarity with Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) or impact management; multi-country experience; comfort experimenting with AI tools.
