- Matric
- N3 Engineering Studies
- Welder Trade Qualification
- Equivalent Welder Qualification registered and recognised by the Government of RSA
- 2 Year’s relevant Post Qualification experience
- Good Welding Skills
- Good Communication Skills
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to perform all types of welding processes
- Proficient in the use of Basic Hand Tools
- Basic Planning Skills
- Computer Literacy
- Sound knowledge and proficiency in Welding of various components to drawing as per procedures and process quality plans
- Good measuring skills and techniques
- Knowledge of different welding machines, tools equipment, processes, consumables and materials
- Ability to maintain a high Quality Standard of Work
- Familiar with the OSHACT 85 of 1993
- Basic knowledge of Quality Systems
- In-depth knowledge of welding techniques
