Trade Apprenticeship Programme at MISA South Africa
Job Description
The Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent (MISA) is offering an intensive three-year Apprenticeship Programme for the 2026/2027 financial year. This structured technical training initiative is specifically designed for unemployed South African youth who hold relevant vocational qualifications from TVET colleges or accredited institutions. Candidates will embark on a comprehensive pathway involving both practical on-the-job training at participating host municipalities and specialized off-the-job theoretical training to qualify as certified Artisans in crucial technical trades.
As part of this youth development programme, learners will be deployed to targeted local and district municipalities across South Africa to support municipal infrastructure development and service delivery maintenance. MISA invites historically disadvantaged individuals to take advantage of this high-impact, career-building artisan learnership opportunity.
