Key Responsibilities

• Assisting qualified Technicians with a variety of vehicle repairs, learning practical skills and best practices under direct supervision.
• Performing routine tasks such as the safe removal and replacement of parts/units, correctly jacking up vehicles, and positioning trestles.
• Conducting lubrication and oil changes strictly according to manual specifications, initially under close supervision to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Handling the removal and replacement of wheels, and fitting air and oil filters as part of routine maintenance.
• Assisting with a wide range of vehicle repairs, from minor adjustments and servicing to more complex diagnostics and component replacements.
• Safely removing and fitting batteries, ensuring proper handling procedures and adherence to all safety protocols.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, which includes cleaning parts, tools, and general housekeeping duties within the workshop.
• Actively participating in all prescribed technical and level courses to advance theoretical understanding and practical competencies required for qualification.
• Adhering strictly to all safety rules and regulations within the workshop environment to ensure a secure working space for all.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment are kept clean, in good working order, and stored correctly after use.
• Maintaining clean overalls and a tidy work area, contributing to a professional and efficient workshop environment.
• Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required to support the service team and overall operational needs of the dealership.
