Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all theoretical and practical training modules as prescribed by the apprenticeship programme.
- Assist qualified technicians and artisans with the maintenance, repair, and servicing of various agricultural and heavy equipment.
- Learn to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on tasks.
- Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge through self-study and mentorship.
- Contribute to a clean and organized workshop environment.

Requirements
- Passed or currently in progress with Grade 12 English or equivalent.
- Passed or currently in progress with N2 Mathematics, Grade 12 Mathematics (Not Literacy), or Grade 12 Engineering Mathematics.
- Passed or currently in progress with N2 Engineering Science, Grade 12 Physical Science, or Grade 12 Engineering/Technical Science.
- Passed or currently in progress with one of the following subjects: N2 Engineering/Technical drawing, Grade 12 Engineering Graphics and Design, or N2 Industrial Electronics.
- Passed or currently in progress with one of the following trade-related subjects: N3 Diesel Trade Theory, N2 Diesel Trade Theory, N1 Motor Trade Theory, Grade 12 Motor Trade Theory, N2 Electrical Trade Theory, N2 Millwright Trade Theory, N2 Air Craft Trade Theory, N2 Boilermaker Trade Theory, N2 Fitter & Turner or Metal & Sheet Trade Theory.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License (Learners, A, B, C, or E Type).
- Completion of practical training phases at an accredited training institute (e.g., Tractor phase 1-3, Diesel phase 1-3) is advantageous.
