Key Responsibilities

• Implement a standard greeting protocol, ensuring every customer receives a warm and welcoming interaction.
• Provide assistance by knowing product locations, features, and benefits, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Establish a clear process for addressing customer complaints, including escalating issues when necessary, to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
• Follow a standard procedure for stocking shelves, ensuring products are properly displayed, rotated, and always available for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including aisles, checkout areas, and back-up spaces, and meticulously organizing merchandise displays to attract shoppers.
• Establish clear communication protocols for interacting with customers, colleagues, and management, fostering a cohesive and productive team atmosphere.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards across all assigned sections, contributing to an appealing shopping environment.
• Merchandise products according to laid down standards, ensuring accurate placement, pricing, and promotional displays.
• Check quality, rotate stock, and diligently remove expired or damaged stock to maintain product freshness and safety.
• Prevent wastage, shrinkage, and damages through careful handling and strict adherence to operational guidelines.
• Check temperatures and maintain the cold chain for perishable goods (if applicable), ensuring optimal product quality and compliance with health standards.
• Maintain hygiene, housekeeping, and safe working standards on the sales floor and in back-up areas, prioritizing safety for both staff and customers.
• Check correct pricing, ensuring labels are accurate and consistent with system prices, and adhere to and maintain security procedures to minimize loss.
• Operate and clean equipment according to laid down standards, ensuring all machinery is safe and functional.
• Respond to customers’ queries in a courteous and helpful manner, providing accurate information and excellent service.
• Promote products and special offers, actively engaging customers to enhance their shopping experience and contribute to sales targets.
