Key Responsibilities
Respond to IT incidents logged by end-users that cannot be resolved through telephonic support.
Provide comprehensive desktop support to end-users, utilizing diagnostic tools to facilitate prompt issue resolution.
Deliver feedback to the service desk regarding the resolution status of logged incidents.
Offer technical support and troubleshoot equipment faults, including Audio-Visual (AV) equipment for conferencing facilities and television repairs for guest rooms.
Coach end-users on the effective use of specific software applications.
Prepare, install, and update software on user devices.
Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts for systems, subsystems, and components used in repair processes.
Liaise with vendors for the procurement of parts, repairs, and services, escalating any issues as necessary.
Complete service orders for approval, detailing all work performed.

Requirements
A 2-Year Diploma in IT or an equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification in IT.
MCSE or ITIL Foundation Certification is considered an advantage.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant IT industry experience.
Ability to work shifts and weekends as required by operational needs.
Willingness to work overtime in line with operational requirements.
Strong technical acumen and understanding of Technology Operations.
Proficiency in Risk Management skills.
Excellent listening and telephone skills.
Solid understanding of Infrastructure Knowledge and Client Computing.
Knowledge of Hospitality Product and Service is beneficial.
