Graduate Programme at Clicks Group

Clicks Group is seeking to recruit four (4) Diploma Graduates for its United Pharmaceutical Distributors (UPD) division, offering a twelve (12) month W&R SETA Graduate Programme 2026/2027. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable work experience within the Operations and Admin departments at the Cape Town branch in Montague Gardens. The programme is designed for individuals aged between 18 and 35 years who have completed a relevant Diploma and are looking to kickstart their careers in the pharmaceutical sector. Successful candidates will be placed in departments such as Health and Safety Management, Finance, Replenishment and Planning, and Operations, reporting to their respective Departmental Managers. This programme aims to provide practical exposure and skill development in a dynamic and supportive environment within a leading retail pharmacy group in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain practical work experience within the Operations and Admin departments of United Pharmaceutical Distributors (UPD).

• Support departmental managers in daily tasks and projects related to Health and Safety Management, Finance, Replenishment and Planning, or Operations.

• Participate in training and development initiatives as part of the W&R SETA Graduate Programme.

• Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting as required by the respective departments.

• Contribute to team objectives and operational efficiency within the assigned department.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

• Develop professional skills and industry knowledge throughout the 12-month programme.

• Engage in learning opportunities to understand the pharmaceutical supply chain and retail operations.

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate.

• Completed Diploma in Operations and Supply Chain Management (x2 positions).

• Completed Diploma in Health and Safety Management (x1 position).

• Completed Diploma in Finance (x1 position).

• Specific Diplomas accepted for Operations & Supply Chain: Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operations Management, Procurement and Supply, Business Management, Retail Business Management, Warehouse Management, Inventory and Stores Management, Production Management, Industrial Engineering (or Engineering Operations).

• Specific Diplomas accepted for Health and Safety: Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Management.

• Specific Diplomas accepted for Finance: Financial Management, Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Internal Auditing, Banking.

• Must be unemployed Diploma Graduates.

• Must be aged between 18 and 35 years.

• Not currently on a SETA bursary or learnership programme.
