Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be assigned to specific business units across Head Office and District Offices, where they will perform day-to-day administrative and technical duties, including:

• Assisting departmental units with operational administration, reporting, stakeholder liaison, and data capturing.

• Supporting project implementation, research initiatives, and policy compliance monitoring within economic development, tourism, or environmental sectors.

• Maintaining accurate documentation, registry filings, and audit trails in compliance with public service regulations.

• Collaborating with internal teams and external local economic development stakeholders across KwaZulu-Natal.

• Participating in structured mentoring, departmental workshops, and workplace training activities.
