Job Description
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) is offering a prestigious Aspirant Prosecutor Training Programme designed to cultivate the next generation of legal professionals in South Africa. Key Responsibilities
Undergo a structured 12-month training programme focused on prosecutorial duties and legal principles.
Participate in continuous assessments to demonstrate competence and readiness for appointment as a Prosecutor.
Comply strictly with the Code of Conduct and observe Policy Directives as determined by the National Director of Public Prosecutions.
Prepare for and undertake a written entry examination as part of the selection process.
Be prepared for potential placement in any NPA office across the country upon successful completion of the programme.
Understand and adhere to the terms of a written contract outlining the conditions of service.
Accept that declining a permanent placement offer after training may result in the termination of contract employment.

Requirements
Completed LLB degree.
Final year LLB students may apply, provided that the LLB degree will be completed before the start date of the programme.
Applicants must be currently unemployed, have no legal experience, and must NOT have participated in any form of Practical Vocational Training for legal practitioners.
Applicants must be South African citizens.
Demonstrable competency in acting Independently, Professionally, Accountable and with Credibility.
Permanent employees of the Department (DOJ&CD) and the NPA meeting the requirements may also apply.
