This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of premium pet foods and accessories from the warehouse to various Absolute Pets stores. As a Warehouse Driver, you will be the crucial link in the supply chain, responsible for the efficient transportation of goods, upholding the company's commitment to excellent service and operational efficiency. This position requires a reliable individual who can manage logistics independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a broader team, ensuring that all deliveries are executed with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Code 10 vehicle safely and efficiently for the transportation of goods between the warehouse and Absolute Pets stores.
• Ensure all deliveries are made on schedule, adhering to planned routes and delivery timelines.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of stock, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods to prevent damage during transit.
• Verify delivery manifests against actual stock received and delivered, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents encountered on the road.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company driving policies, and safety regulations.
• Represent Absolute Pets professionally during interactions with store staff and other stakeholders.
• Assist in any other general warehouse duties as per operational needs, demonstrating flexibility and a team-player attitude.
