Nedbank is seeking a dedicated Validations Officer to join its dynamic team. As a Validations Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Nedbank's corporate strategy by identifying new business opportunities, providing expert product knowledge, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through independent and dual visits with corporate bankers, tailored to client needs and specific situations.
- Foster relationships with internal stakeholders by actively participating in structured information-sharing meetings to enhance collaboration.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with corporate bankers, aligning with Nedbank's overarching corporate strategy.
- Contribute to a positive and transformative culture by engaging in Nedbank Culture building initiatives, such as staff surveys.
- Support corporate responsibility initiatives to achieve business strategy goals, including the Green Strategy.
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective operational enhancements that add value to Nedbank.
- Grow the Nedfleet portfolio in line with budget targets by nurturing client relationships.
- Source new business by effectively presenting Nedfleet product opportunities to corporate clients.
- Provide expert product knowledge by delivering comprehensive fleet management solutions consistent with corporate strategy and budget.
- Monitor client portfolios in line with credit limits and associated Management Information Systems to ensure client expectations are consistently met.
- Ensure client expectations are met by liaising effectively with operational and administrative teams, monitoring and managing outputs according to service level agreements, credit policies, and corporate strategy.
- Maintain strong business relations with regulators by ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Address operational and system challenges by managing client relationships and involving internal stakeholders to find effective solutions and resolve issues promptly.
- Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives, and values by reviewing Nedbank and Business Unit Plans and ensuring that delivered systems, processes, services, and solutions are aligned.
- Identify relevant training courses and career progression paths through input and feedback from management.
- Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframes.
- Share knowledge and industry trends with team members and stakeholders through both formal and informal interactions.
- Obtain buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced processes (e.g., operational processes) that will improve the functioning of stakeholders' businesses by clearly highlighting the benefits in support of implementation.

Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- 1 year general banking experience
- Knowledge of Administrative procedures and systems
- Proficiency in Data analysis
- Understanding of Nedbank policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Relevant regulatory frameworks
