homechoice is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Talent Acquisition Intern. This internship opportunity is based in Cape Town, Western Cape, and offers a 12-month contract. The role is designed for individuals passionate about people and eager to build a career in Human Resources, specifically within Talent Acquisition and Recruitment. You will gain invaluable hands-on experience supporting the entire recruitment lifecycle in a leading South African homeware retailer with over 40 years of history. This is an excellent chance to develop foundational skills in recruitment, employer branding, and candidate experience within a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
Support the end-to-end recruitment process for vacancies across Contact Centre, Showroom, and Head Office.
Assist in sourcing and screening candidates using various recruitment platforms and channels.
Coordinate interview schedules and maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment journey.
Provide essential recruitment administration, including updating candidate records and recruitment systems.
Help prepare recruitment reports and track key hiring metrics to inform decision-making.
Contribute to employer branding and talent attraction initiatives to enhance the homechoice employer brand.
Support onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through professional and timely interactions.
Assist with specific recruitment projects and initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
Collaborate effectively with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to meet business hiring needs.
