Job Description
ENSafrica is offering a Summer Vacation Programme designed to provide aspiring legal professionals with an immersive experience into the operations of Africa’s largest law firm. This programme is not merely an observational role but a structured opportunity to gain practical exposure to the firm's diverse legal matters, understand its core values, and witness firsthand the dedication that drives its success. Participants will engage in insightful talks by ENS Executives, attend court visits, collaborate with seasoned attorneys, and partake in engaging social activities, offering a comprehensive introduction to the firm and the business of law. The programme is available in both Cape Town and Johannesburg offices, with specific intake periods in June/July and November/December.
Key Responsibilities
Gain practical exposure to legal matters handled by the firm.
Attend informative sessions and talks by ENS Executives.
Participate in court visits to observe legal proceedings.
Work alongside experienced attorneys on various legal tasks.
Contribute to team projects and firm activities.
Develop legal analysis and drafting skills.
Formulate legal opinions based on research and analysis.
Manage time effectively to meet programme deadlines.
Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Utilize Microsoft Office suite for various tasks.

Requirements
Grade 12/Matric or equivalent certificate.
Currently studying towards a BA Law, BAcc LLB, BCom Law, LLB, or LLM degree.
Demonstrated excellent academic record.
Learning agility and the ability to perform under pressure.
Strong planning, accuracy, and results-orientated approach.
Proficiency in analysing information and forming opinions.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
