About the Role
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying, validating, creating, and qualifying new account opportunities in assigned accounts, territories, or buying centers for the channel, inside, and field sellers to pursue. SDRs utilize a comprehensive spectrum of tactics, including strategic phone outreach with compelling voicemails, personalized email campaigns, engaging social media interactions, and real-time chat, to connect with prospects and foster meaningful initial interactions. A key aspect of the role involves qualifying marketing-generated demand, which is demonstrated by prospect engagement with marketing campaigns, specific digital actions, and meeting predefined scoring thresholds. These initial marketing interactions serve as critical starting points to identify and engage other members of the buying group in a proactive outbound effort. The SDR will be instrumental in building a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads for the account executives, and contributing directly to the company's revenue growth. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities (cold calls, emails, social selling) to identify and engage potential customers.
- Qualify inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns, assessing their needs and fit for Veeam's solutions.
- Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers and influencers.
- Schedule discovery calls and meetings for Account Executives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation strategies and ensure seamless handoffs.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and Veeam's product offerings.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified opportunities and pipeline generation.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
