As a Sales Analyst Intern within Mastercard's APEMEA business unit, you will be embedded in the Sales and Business Development team β supporting strategic sales planning, client engagement, and data-driven market analysis for one of the most iconic brands in global fintech. You will work alongside experienced sales professionals, gain exposure to Mastercard's suite of integrated payment solutions, and develop the analytical and commercial skills that form the foundation of a high-impact sales and business development career.
This Winter Internship is a direct pipeline into Mastercard's Graduate Programme the following year β outstanding interns who demonstrate performance and leadership are strongly considered for full-time placement.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Sales and Business Development team with strategic sales planning and pipeline management
Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and provide actionable insights
Assist in preparing client-facing presentations, proposals, and reports
Provide product expertise and help leverage Mastercard's integrated solutions to drive revenue goals
Support the identification and qualification of new sales leads across financial institutions and merchants
Gather and synthesise market intelligence to support product and sales strategy decisions
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and account management teams
Requirements
Penultimate year Undergraduate or Master's degree student due to graduate in 2027
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Solid analytical and structured problem-solving skills
Strong strategic and conceptual thinking aptitude
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently under pressure
High-energy, can-do attitude with a strong sense of ownership and desire to succeed
Must be eligible to work in South Africa without employer sponsorship
