Workplace experiences
- Attend and participate in all workplace experiences against agreed development objectives. This includes rotations through different risk departments such as credit risk, operational risk, market risk, and compliance, providing a holistic view of the bank's risk framework.
- Engage in real-world projects, applying theoretical knowledge to practical challenges and contributing to risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with experienced risk professionals, learning best practices and industry standards.
Learning
- Attend and participate in all training and development interventions against agreed development objectives. This encompasses formal training programs, workshops, and seminars focused on risk methodologies, regulatory requirements, and financial products.
- Undertake self-study and continuous professional development to stay abreast of evolving risk trends and industry innovations.
- Participate in peer learning and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a collaborative learning environment.
Ad Hoc duties
- Provide support to customers and team as required to ensure team performance on an ongoing basis. This may involve assisting with data analysis, report generation, or research tasks to support departmental objectives.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing risk management processes and systems.
Administration
- Effectively fulfil all required administrative duties, including tracking and reporting. This includes maintaining accurate records, preparing presentations, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and handle correspondence efficiently to support the smooth operation of the risk team.
