People & Culture Internship at Standard Bank

This 18-month programme is designed to nurture talent and provide comprehensive, hands-on experience within the Human Resources and Social Sciences fields. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of HR initiatives and projects.

• Support the People & Culture team with daily operational tasks.

• Gain exposure to various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, talent management, and learning and development.

• Participate in structured work exposure and learning-on-the-job activities.

• Engage in self-learning and technical training relevant to the HR field.

• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across different departments and levels.

• Contribute to ensuring that Standard Bank adds value in the present and capitalizes on the future world of work.

• Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.

• Assist in data collection and analysis for HR reporting.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions and problem-solving.

• Must have a qualification in Organisational Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, or a Post graduate diploma in Business Administration with an undergraduate degree in any of the above.

• Must be a South African Citizen.

• Must be between the ages of 18 and 30.

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

• Must have successfully completed a tertiary qualification relating to Human Resources or Social Sciences.

• Must not be permanently employed.

• Must not be studying at any other institution.

• Must not be registered on any other learnership/internship.
