Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with customer requirements, offering optimal parts availability and promoting complementary products to enhance service value.
• Diligently manage open sales orders, striving for the shortest possible delivery times and accurately reflecting customer-required dates.
• Ensure meticulous data entry and information accuracy across all orders, providing timely and precise feedback to customers regarding their order status.
• Execute business continuity processes as and when instructed, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery.
• Provide an after-hour service as required, demonstrating commitment to customer support.
• For new customers, facilitate account creation and ensure strict compliance with CES policy requirements.
• Capture customer order requirements to produce accurate quotations.
• Apply appropriate systems (SIS, TMI, SIMSi, OTV, etc.) to identify part numbers and determine availability from JDC and overseas supply chains, providing accurate OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) dates.
• Log CID tickets with CAT to actively contribute to improving lead times for customers.
• Assess various options by consulting SIS and alternative locations to provide parts to customers within their required timeframes.
• Select appropriate order reasons when ordering parts from suppliers, considering cut-off times, order priorities, and additional charges.
• Action workflow messages immediately upon receipt, reordering parts if required and informing customers accordingly.
• Run reports to follow up on back orders, open sales orders, and open quotes, contributing to efficient inventory management and sales analysis.
• Close open quotes with valid reasons for marketing analysis, providing valuable insights.
• Inform pricing and master data teams of any incorrect data to maintain system integrity.
• Assess credit returns from customers and process them accordingly, referring to a manager if required and applying restocking fees where applicable.
• Escalate supply problems from suppliers to the parts manager for prompt resolution.
• Participate in warehouse operations, including picking (Outbound) in accordance with Warehouse Picking KPIs.
• Perform weekly cycle counts with the team, led by the Inventory Controller, to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist with Receiving (Inbound deliveries) and Forklift operating.
• Perform Hydraulic Hose assembling and adhere strictly to Contamination Control practices and controls.
