Part-Time Sales Assistant

PEP is hiring a Part-Time Sales Assistant to join their retail team in Mthatha. This role is ideal for candidates looking for flexible work hours (up to 27 hours per week) while gaining experience in retail sales and customer service.

As part of the PEP team (Dynamos), you will support store operations, drive sales, and ensure customers receive a positive shopping experience. The role focuses on maintaining store efficiency, handling transactions, and promoting products.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting customers and delivering excellent service

• Operating the cash register and handling payments accurately

• Promoting products and achieving sales targets

• Managing stock, receiving deliveries, and organising inventory

• Maintaining store cleanliness, safety, and visual merchandising

• Informing customers about promotions and special offers

• Matric (Grade 12)

• Retail or sales-related experience (advantageous)

• Must live within 15km of Mthatha

• Clear criminal record

• Willingness to work flexible part-time hours (up to 27 hours/week)

• Honest and trustworthy, especially when handling cash
