MiWay Insurance, one of South Africa's leading direct short-term insurers and a proud member of the Sanlam Group, is inviting motivated young South Africans to apply for its 2026 Client Services Internship Programme based in Midrand, Gauteng.

As a Client Services Intern, you will be placed within MiWay's busy client-facing operations team, gaining hands-on exposure to customer engagement, data administration, quality assurance, and internal stakeholder communication inside one of South Africa's most innovative insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities
Capture and update client information accurately and timeously in MiWay's systems
Handle inbound and outbound telephonic engagement with clients and internal stakeholders
Handle calls transferred from the internal message centre
Audit recorded calls, transcribe interactions, and report on errors identified
Consistently ensure accuracy and completeness across all data and client records
Support the Client Services team with general administrative duties as required
Maintain confidentiality of all client information at all times
Salary: R6,500 β R8,500 per month (Salary not specified by employer β estimated based on South African client services internship market rates in the insurance sector, 2025/2026)
Requirements
Matric / Grade 12 / Standard 10 (minimum)
1-Year Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Client Services, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (advantageous)
South African citizen
Currently unemployed
No prior work experience required
High level of computer literacy β proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Professional telephone etiquette and strong verbal communication skills
Excellent written communication skills
Strong analytical and attention to detail skills
Effective time management and ability to multitask under pressure
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Action-oriented attitude with a collaborative, team-player approach
