Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured riding lessons to individuals and small groups, adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities.
• Ensure the safety of all riders and horses during lessons and other equestrian activities, adhering to established safety protocols.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students, helping them to improve their riding technique, horse care knowledge, and overall horsemanship.
• Assist with the daily care and management of the Equestrian Centre's horses, including grooming, tacking, and general stable duties.
• Organise and supervise equestrian events, clinics, and competitions as required.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment, fostering confidence and a love for horses among students.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members regarding progress, schedules, and any concerns.
• Monitor the condition of riding equipment and facilities, reporting any maintenance needs.
• Stay updated on best practices in riding instruction and horse welfare.
