Key Responsibilities
Collating Product Briefs: Assist the Product Developer in compiling comprehensive design briefs for both local and international manufacturers once new concept designs receive approval.
Technical Drawing & Specification: Prepare precise technical drawings using CAD tools, assemble accurate specification sheets, and draft user assembly instructions.
Supplier Coordination: Follow up continuously on prototype sampling, costing timelines, and production milestones to ensure all internal procurement deadlines are met.
Quality & Prototype Evaluation: Assist in reviewing incoming samples and prototypes, evaluating material integrity, aesthetic appeal, functionality, and manufacturing quality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate seamless communication between external suppliers, internal buying teams, and production departments to resolve design queries timeously.
Documentation Management: Maintain a meticulously organized digital filing system for all signed-off specifications, technical briefs, and presentation decks.

Requirements
A completed 3-year National Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated technical proficiency in design software, specifically AutoCAD, Fusion, or equivalent 3D/2D CAD modeling tools.
A minimum of 1 to 2 years of practical experience or relevant coursework in product development, design coordination, or technical drafting.
Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
