The Junior Local Content Methods & Reporting Officer plays a crucial role in supporting Totalenergies' commitment to economic development and job creation within the Host Country, specifically focusing on South Africa. This position operates within a dynamic and multicultural environment, engaging with various internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and regulatory agencies. The incumbent will be instrumental in ensuring that local content initiatives are effectively monitored, reported, and aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the regular update and meticulous maintenance of local content frameworks, comprehensive guidelines, strategic plans, operational procedures, and essential tools, as directed by the Local Content Coordinator.
- Maintain and meticulously organize all local content documentation, records, and archiving systems to guarantee that information is consistently accurate, readily accessible, and fully traceable for audit and reference purposes.
- Support the preparation and timely update of monitoring and reporting templates, strictly adhering to approved formats and established guidance to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Provide essential assistance with the testing, accurate data entry, fundamental validation, and initial user support for designated local content monitoring tools, ensuring their smooth operation.
- Offer first-level support to both internal and external users, assist with the onboarding process and new user setup, and actively help promote the effective and efficient use of reporting tools across the organization.
- Support basic checks to help ensure that all data, reports, and monitoring processes strictly follow company standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining high levels of compliance.
- Collect, meticulously review, thoroughly verify, and consolidate local content data and reports from multiple diverse sources, preparing comprehensive draft reports for review by the Local Content Coordinator.
- Proactively flag any deviations, potential risks, and identified gaps in local content performance, and support necessary follow-up actions under the expert guidance of the Local Content Coordinator.
- Support effective communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding data collection, reporting timelines, and basic tool usage, escalating complex issues when necessary to senior personnel.
- Prepare detailed draft reports, engaging presentations, accurate meeting notes, and timely updates for both internal and external audiences, ensuring they are thoroughly reviewed and validated by the Local Content Coordinator.
- Perform any other duties as specifically assigned in direct support of the Local Content Coordinator, contributing to the overall success of local content activities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Information Management, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience in administration, data collection, reporting, documentation, or coordination roles.
- Basic understanding of monitoring, reporting, procedures, guidelines, or willingness to learn company frameworks and tools.
- Ability to organize documents, maintain records, and follow archiving procedures accurately.
- Ability to use and update standard templates for data collection, monitoring, and reporting.
- Good communication skills and ability to support users with basic guidance, under supervision.
- Basic analytical skills, with the ability to check data, identify inconsistencies, and report issues for follow-up.
- Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to collect information and follow up on deadlines.
- Basic skills in preparing draft reports, presentations, meeting notes, and updates for review.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with SharePoint or shared drives is an advantage.
