IT Internship at Managed People Solutions

Managed People Solutions is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Intern to join their team for a 12-month internship programme. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a Degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field to gain invaluable practical workplace experience in IT support. The role is based in Somerset West and offers a monthly stipend of R5,500. This programme is designed to equip interns with essential IT skills and expose them to various aspects of IT operations within a dynamic business environment. Candidates will have the chance to contribute to the IT department while developing their professional capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with responding to and resolving IT helpdesk tickets efficiently.

• Provide basic technical support to employees across the organisation.

• Assist with the setup and configuration of new computers, laptops, and other IT devices.

• Support the installation and configuration of software and applications.

• Perform basic troubleshooting of common hardware and software issues.

• Assist with user account management and access-related requests.

• Support the IT team with fundamental networking and systems support tasks.

• Assist with the maintenance of IT equipment inventory and records.

• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT team members for resolution.

• Assist with general IT administration and other duties as assigned by the IT department.
