Sun International is seeking a motivated and technically inclined IT Graduate to join their dynamic team at GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World. You will be instrumental in resolving user queries, performing installations and maintenance, and liaising with vendors to maintain optimal IT service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly and effectively to all IT user queries and technical problems via telephone and in person.
Log, monitor, and escalate IT incidents according to company policy and procedures.
Perform diagnostic tests to facilitate the swift resolution of user issues.
Conduct routine maintenance on data centre equipment and ensure the optimal configuration of the IT environment.
Install and update necessary hardware and software for end-users.
Maintain an accurate inventory of spare IT parts and components.
Provide end-user assistance and coaching on the use of specific software applications.
Liaise with IT vendors for parts, repairs, and services, and escalate issues as needed.
Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in IT services and operations.
Ensure all service delivery adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with all clients.
Assist in managing and mitigating IT-related risks.

Requirements
Matric or equivalent qualification.
Diploma in IT or equivalent NQF Level 6 in IT.
MCSE or ITIL Foundation Certification is advantageous.
Must meet all requirements for a Gaming license.
No prior experience required.
