Key Responsibilities

• Store Image Enhancement: Lead the implementation of all required visual merchandising activities for specific promotional periods, ensuring a cohesive and attractive store layout. Consistently uphold and enhance VM standards to create an exceptional and memorable customer experience. Conduct weekly evaluations of the store image, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. Effectively utilise all available VM resources, including props and display materials. Ensure that all VM assets, including equipment and point-of-sale (POS) materials, are meticulously maintained and well-managed to prolong their lifespan and effectiveness.
• Contribution to Turnover & Expense Management: Diligently monitor stock replenishment on a daily basis, communicating any missed opportunities to the Store Manager for prompt and appropriate action. Ensure that all visual merchandising instructions and/or requirements are actioned timeously and accurately, aligning with promotional calendars and sales targets.
• Effective Communication and Feedback: Clearly communicate all store guidelines via VM resources to all store Phadimas (staff members), ensuring everyone is aligned with visual standards. Monitor all weekly and monthly instructions, providing timely feedback and communication with necessary role players to ensure smooth execution. Maintain organised VM checklists for future reference and audit purposes. Ensure that orders for VM materials are communicated effectively to Store Management/DSM and followed up on diligently.
• Cultivating Customer Relationships: Actively assist the Store Manager in resolving any visual merchandising-related complaints and queries, ensuring customer satisfaction. Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuously improving the level of VM principles and product knowledge to build stronger, more collaborative relationships with fellow Phadimas. Play an active and crucial role in ensuring that visual merchandising standards are strictly adhered to for all new store openings, setting a high benchmark from the outset.
• Training and Development: Ensure that Training Management Tools (TMTs) regarding visual merchandising principles are regularly conducted and effectively communicated with the Store Manager. Take initiative in providing on-the-job training for fellow Phadimas, empowering them with the skills to maintain visual standards. Actively participate in Strategic Business Unit (SBU) workshops, applying learnings directly to your own store for improved results and innovation.
