Key Responsibilities
- Perform first-line technical support for NAPAfrica, ACX, and ExtraConnect services, addressing customer queries and issues promptly.
- Monitor the health and availability of the NAPAfrica platform and its supporting infrastructure using established tools and systems.
- Escalate complex incidents to senior engineers when necessary and appropriate, ensuring timely resolution.
- Assist with the scheduling and provisioning of new customer connections and service activations.
- Validate customer configurations meticulously before implementation to prevent service disruptions.
- Perform routine operational checks and preventative maintenance activities to ensure system stability.
- Maintain accurate operational documentation and contribute to the knowledge base articles for future reference.
- Participate actively in after-hours support and shift rotations to cover 24x7 operational requirements.
- Assist with planned maintenance windows, ensuring minimal impact on services.
- Work closely with carriers, cloud providers, customers, and internal engineering teams to resolve service issues collaboratively.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of operational processes and documentation, fostering efficiency and best practices.

Requirements
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
- Understanding of the OSI model.
- Basic knowledge of routing and switching.
