Graduate Internship at SANParks (Law, Public Admin, Business Admin, Corporate Governance)
Job Description
South African National Parks (SANParks) is offering a 24-month internship program for recent graduates who have completed their National Diploma or Degree (NQF6/7) in Law, Corporate Governance, Public Administration, or Business Administration. This opportunity is designed to provide valuable practical experience to unemployed graduates aged 18-35. The program aims to equip interns with essential skills and knowledge within a conservation and tourism-focused environment. SANParks is committed to developing future leaders in the public sector and conservation field. While this internship provides a stipend, SANParks is under no obligation to offer permanent employment upon its completion. This is an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience in a reputable national organization.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in departmental administrative tasks related to Law, Corporate Governance, Public Administration, or Business Administration.
Support the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Participate in research and data collection for departmental projects.
Contribute to report writing and presentation preparation.
Engage in learning and development activities as part of the internship program.
Provide administrative support to senior staff members.
Assist with record-keeping and document management.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental objectives.
Adhere to SANParks policies and procedures.
Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma (NQF6) in Law, Corporate Governance, Public Administration, or Business Administration.
Be an unemployed graduate aged 18 – 35.
Be a South African Citizen.
Have completed a National Diploma (NQF6) or Degree (NQF7) from a South African Higher Education Institution (HEI).
Must not have previously been employed nor participated in an internship/placement programme.
