Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, stack, and move materials within the Watergel plant.
- Assist with binning, issuing, and preservation activities, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of forklifts and report any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and contribute to inventory control processes.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless operational flow.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety within the plant.
- Perform general physical labour tasks as required to support plant operations.

Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Valid Forklift competency certificate.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in explosives manufacturing.
- Experience working at a Watergel Plant is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP (PSD) systems is an advantage.
- Ability to perform physical labour, assisting with binning, issuing, and preservation activities.
- Capability to carry out all tasks relevant to the job purpose as allocated by the leader.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize work processes.
- Understanding of process safety and environmental regulations.
- Ability to manage complexity in tasks and operations.
