Key Responsibilities

• Engage proactively with customers on the sales floor, providing attentive assistance, comprehensive product information, and personalized styling advice to significantly enhance their shopping journey.
• Actively maximize sales opportunities by keenly understanding individual customer needs and skillfully recommending suitable clothing items, complementary accessories, and current promotions.
• Operate the till accurately and efficiently, processing all transactions, handling cash, and managing card payments with precision and integrity.
• Ensure that merchandise and display standards are consistently maintained at an exemplary level, including neatness, correct pricing, and attractive, eye-catching presentation of all products.
• Handle stock according to established company standards, which encompasses receiving, unpacking, ticketing, and diligently replenishing items on the sales floor to prevent stockouts.
• Conduct regular and thorough quality checks on all merchandise to ensure products meet Pick n Pay's stringent quality benchmarks before being displayed or sold to customers.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, housekeeping, and safe work practices within the clothing department to ensure a clean, organized, and secure environment for both customers and colleagues.
• Address customer queries, concerns, and complaints professionally, empathetically, and efficiently, escalating complex issues to management when necessary to ensure swift resolution.
• Collaborate effectively and harmoniously with team members to achieve daily sales goals and contribute to a positive, productive, and cohesive work environment.
